1. PRELIMINARY CONSIDERATIONS

Cookies are small text strings that the websites visited by the user send to their terminal (usually to the browser), where they are stored to be retransmitted to the same websites on the next visit by the same user. While browsing a site, users may also receive cookies on their terminal that are sent from other websites or web servers (so-called “third parties”), where certain elements (such as images, maps, sounds, specific links to pages of other domains) present on the site being visited may reside. Cookies, which are usually present in large numbers in users’ browsers and sometimes have long persistence times, are used for various purposes: execution of computer authentications, session monitoring, storage of information on specific configurations concerning users accessing the server, etc.

2. TYPES OF COOKIES
There are two main categories of cookies: “technical” cookies and “profiling” cookies. Technical cookies are used solely to “carry out the transmission of a communication over an electronic communications network, or as strictly necessary for the provider of an information society service explicitly requested by the subscriber or user to provide that service.” They are not used for further purposes and are normally installed directly by the website owner or operator. They can be divided into:

• Browsing or session cookies, which ensure normal browsing and use of the website (for example, allowing purchases or authentication to access restricted areas);

• Analytics cookies, which are similar to technical cookies when used directly by the site operator to collect aggregated information on the number of users and how they visit the site;

• Functionality cookies, which allow the user to navigate according to a set of selected criteria (for example, language, selected products for purchase) to improve the service provided.

The installation of such cookies does not require the prior consent of users. Profiling cookies are aimed at creating user profiles and are used to send advertising messages in line with the preferences expressed by the user while browsing the web. Under EU and Italian legislation, users must be adequately informed about their use and express valid consent.

3. COOKIE UTILIZZATI DALL’APP
The App uses the following types of cookies and offers the possibility to de-select them, except for third-party cookies, for which users must refer directly to the relevant selection and de-selection methods as indicated via link: • Technical cookies – browsing or session cookies – strictly necessary for the functioning of the App or to allow the user to use the requested content and services. • Analytics cookies, which allow the App manager to understand how the App is used by users. These cookies do not collect information about the user’s identity or any personal data. The information is processed in an aggregated and anonymous form. • Functionality cookies, used to activate specific features of the App and a series of selected criteria (e.g., language, products selected for purchase) in order to improve the service provided. If technical and/or functionality cookies are disabled, the App may not be accessible or some services or features of the App may not be available or function properly, and the user may be required to change or manually enter certain information or preferences each time they visit the App. • Third-party cookies, i.e., cookies from websites or web servers other than the Controller’s, used for the purposes of those third parties, including analytics and profiling cookies. Please note that such third parties, listed below with their respective links to privacy policies, act as independent data controllers for the data they collect through the cookies they send; therefore, users must refer to their personal data processing policies, information notices, and any consent collection forms (selection and de-selection of respective cookies)

4. HOW TO VIEW AND MODIFY COOKIES VIA YOUR BROWSER OF SPECIFIC SOFTWARE

Users can select which cookies to authorize through the specific procedure provided in the Settings section, as well as authorize, block or delete (in whole or in part) cookies through the specific functions of their browser or using specific software. However, if all or some cookies are disabled, it may not be possible to access the App or some services or certain functions of the App may not be available or function properly and/or the user may be required to change or manually enter some information or preferences every time they visit the App. For more information on how to set cookie preferences through your browser, you can consult the instructions provided below:

5. SETTINGS

Below, users can make their choices and indicate which cookies they authorize. Failure to authorize profiling cookies will not affect the operation of the App; with regard to third-party cookies, however, since such types of cookies are sent exclusively by third parties and the App operator cannot control the sending of such cookies to the user’s terminal, related objections can only be made by accessing the consent forms provided by those third parties, if available, or through the browser settings. The links to third-party privacy policies and any consent collection forms for cookies sent through the App are provided in the “Cookies used by the App” section. As for cookies sent directly by the App operator, in addition to the procedure provided on this page, users can also block or delete (in whole or in part) cookies through their browser settings. The choices made by the user with regard to the App cookies will be recorded in a specific technical cookie. However, this cookie may not function properly in some cases: in such cases, users are advised to delete unwanted cookies and disable their use through browser functionalities as well. User preferences for cookies must be reset if different devices are used to access the App.

6. PROFILING COOKIES

The App does not use profiling cookies to send advertising messages aligned with the user’s preferences while browsing the web.
